chocolatemilk1 137x300 Horizon Organic Chocolate Milk: Review/Giveaway (closed)

I have always loved chocolate milk- every since I was a kid, and have purchased it for my family throughout the years.

I love organic products as well and was thrilled when I was contacted by a Horizon Representative to complete this review.  I received coupons to try Horizon Organic Chocolate Milk .  I was able to find the product at our local Wal-mart.

While reviewing the product- I was impressed when I learned of all the healthy ingredients Horizon Organic included.  Horizon Organic tastes delicious and it is a healthy choice for my family.  This is an easy way to add calcium and nutrients to our diet.  My children as well as I and husband enjoyed it!  This will definitely be added to our grocery list.  Horizon Chocolate Milk is Organic with DHA-Omega 3, which is an added plus!  If you love chocolate milk, you will enjoy the taste of Horizon Organic.

About DHA-Omega 3

Taken from Horizon-Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA) is a type of Omega-3 fatty acid, a nutrient that has been studied extensively in connection with heart, brain and eye health. Although it is found in most tissues throughout the body, the highest concentrations of DHA are in the brain, nervous system and the retina of the eye, and it helps support normal development in these areas. DHA has also been shown to help promote heart health.  DHA exists naturally in breast milk.

Click here to check out the Smart Omega 3 Recipes.  These dishes will help your family achieve more DHA.

We LOVE Horizon milk around here. I feel good drinking it and giving it to my kids knowing that it is organic and that it has the added DHA Omega-3. But also it just tastes WAY better than any other milk I’ve tried. And I always thought milk was milk and didn’t taste any different.

I just visited their site and was surprised to see their recipes. They look tasty so I’ll have to go back and try a few.

Thanks so much for the chance to win!

Organic milk is super important for little ones as the yucky stuff can hang out in the higher fat content milks that they need. I have an almost one year old — we’ll be buying lots more milk soon! Great giveaway and hi from FF. I’m your newest follower!

A lowfat snack that’s delightfully high in flavor. Try organic goodness in convenient quarts. Lowfat, fat-free or cream-on-top whole milk yogurt in quart (32-ounce) packs, available in plain or vanilla.
