7 Ways to Spot a Money Making Scam Online
Every time I turn on the computer, I don’t know about you, but I always see those silly ads stating “Make $6,333/hr picking your nose”, and others alike. While a lot of people fall into these traps, there are some things that you have to know before you sign up with a company and start making money with them.
First off, I want to tell you that money will never come easy and it will always require work. The same goes on the Internet. I run a paid survey site, and while you can make a lot of money doing it, it’s going to take a lot of hard work and effort.
#1 If it sounds too good…
Ah yes, the old saying, “If it sounds too good to be true, it is!” This is always the case on the Internet, and I’ve never seen a case when I wasn’t right. You’re not going to make $899/hr stuffing envelopes, and you’re not going to make $58,999 a month part time calling people. Just use your head, it’s not hard.
#2 Do a search
Google is your friend here and if you come across something that seems like it’s a great deal, do a search. Right away I can promise you if you know if it’s going to be a good deal, or not. If you can’t find much information on it, you may want to ask some questions online.
#3 Check with the BBB
Most legitimate companies are going to be with the Better Business Bureau (bbb.org). Check their rating online and see what it is, if they have one. You will find that any business with a B, or better is going to be a fairly trustworthy company.
#4 Do your homework
Again, you want to use your head. How does the company work? How are you going to get paid? The more you know about the company, the better it’s going to be for you. If you can’t find much information, or you can’t get the answers you’re seeking, again, it’s going to be a scam!
#5 You have to pay to get in
A legitimate company will never ever ask you to pay to get in. You have to think about this one for a second. If you wanted to a get a job at your local grocery store, are they going to ask you for $500 to start off? No! The companies that do this are the ones that are pocketing your hard earned cash.
#6 Asking for personal information
Never ever give your personal information right off the bat. If they instantly ask for bank account numbers, your social security number, and more, you want to run as fast as you can. These people are in it to steal your money, and not help you with a career.
#7 Just use your head
I know I already stated this one, but it’s the easiest thing. I know it’s hard to find a money making venture. Again, it’s going to take time to work and earn that cash. Just use your head, and know that you’re not going to make that thousand dollars over night.
Yes, I know that many of you may think that surveys online are scams, but they really aren’t! As long as you follow the rules above, you can find a lot of great companies. Find 5-10 legit companies, make $20 each, and you can net about $200-$300 a month. No, you’re not going to make a living, but you can make enough money to buy a few purses, or pair of shoes.
Use this knowledge today and find an online making venture today that works for you!
